It’s All a Dream

Everything is a dream,

The good and bad,

It’s just my imagining.

Who you are

Is my perception.

Dreams are made

Of wishes, still,

They’re all the same.

The question being

Do we want to sleep?

Or are we brave enough

To be awakened?

Fear manifests every illusion.

It’s the substance of all clouds.

What we perceive

In the mist ahead

Reflects our thoughts

Not yet forgiven.

Determine to see

The sameness of everything

Regardless of its sweet or bitter taste.

Let go of every judgement

To allow the release to come.

Freedom fills us,

Arriving on cat’s feet

To set our hearts free

And afire,

As we are lifted

Onto the shoulders

Of a Savior

We never saw coming.
