Flowers blooming, petals bursting
(wormwood eaten, turning black),
Vibrant colors, living, breathing
(faded efforts, dying, slack).

Gentle souls and loving beings
(huddled masses, crouching down),
Spreading joy wherever going
(taking, faking, made-up, clowns).

Open-minded, and light-hearted
(hateful stabs of sharp attack),
Giving love and healing’s promise
(blindly blaming for my lack).

Joined in Love, and whole, regardless
(searching for my other half),
Partners in the goals’ attainment
(destroying all that blocks my path).

Looking in the mirror, finally
seeking truth of what I see,
Finding answers to all in question
by knowing all I see is Me.
