I will not see Heaven’s light
until I offer it to everyone,
Each one, each day.

I will not know God’s love
until I give it to all, unquestioned,
Each one, each day.

I will not feel the peace of Christ
Until I know my brother’s sins are forgiven too,
Each one, each day.

In this life, as I walk to God,
Help me remember that each brother is God’s beloved child.
I must love my neighbor as myself,
Each one.
I must love myself as God loves me,
Each day.
