All of life and death, time and growth, is learned in nature.
In birth, a robin’s eggshell cracks open,
Bursting forth in life,
Leaving behind a shell,
It no longer needs.
In growth, a caterpillar transforms,
By growing still,
And in the proper time,
Bravely becoming a butterfly.
In death, a beautiful autumn leaf,
Exhibits no struggle,
It just surrenders,
In peace and beauty.
I absolutely love this
