What Is It For?

To remind me to be thankful
To propel me to be kind
To teach me that the way to heal your pain is by healing mine.

To capture my attention
To forgive and let it be
To gently redirect my thoughts to Love that lives in me.

For when I see things Your way
And I focus on Your plan
You guide me to the path of peace, so gently, with Your hand.

In asking, “What’s the purpose?” “Why this, now?” and “What’s this for?”
I’m asking all the questions that will lead me to Your door.
